WandaVision is on air but Disney+ is not?!

People around the world have asked about the Disney+ streaming services and how to get their hands on WandaVision. There’s still countires where Disney+ still hasn’t laucnched yet.

During the investors meeting, 11 december, some of this information reached the audience while some still remained unclear. What we know this far is this – and some of this information is also covered by a wikipedia page here.

As we know from before (above), keep an eye on what will happen in the end of february. A better overview from wikipedia tells us that Disney isn’t done yet.

Who is the aerospace engineer in WandaVision

The most interesting clue in the last episode of WandaVision is something that was mentioned in the New Rockstars breakdown recently. Some people may think that the aerospace engineer could be a nod to Fantastic Four, but as a hispanic subtitle translation refers the aerospace engineer to a female character this could have another final clue.

Who do you think this might be? One very wild guess could be leading us directly to one of Monica Rambeau’s allies from Captain Marvel.

Jimmy Woo mastered his card trick, but is that really it?

When Jimmy Woo (played by Randall Park) presented himself in Episode 4, Marvel did a scene that was nodding back to Ant-Man and The Wasp. Basically, that scene made many Marvel-fans go crazy. And sometimes, I’d admin, easter eggs are made for just nodding back to something. However, is that kind of easter egg covered by this one too?

As WandaVision Episode 4 progressing, we will soon get a notification via the board Woo is writing on that they may suspect Skrull involvement. This makes my go thinking if there are more movies signed with Randall Park (except the Ant-Man and The Wasp sequel).

This might be a long shot for the upcoming series Secret Invasion and related films, and currently just a theory: Could this card trick have a key role in future films too? Some breakdowns from Emergency Awesome mentions this, while talking about eventual Doctor Strange cameos during WandaVision. But, what if there’s further more? Let’s just say that there’s an ongoing Skrull invasion, and the Skrulls has short term memory. If we see Randall Park in future Marvel movies, this could be the perfect way to identify him as the real Jimmy Woo.

When does WandaVision take place?

In the last episode breakdown from New Rockstars, occuring dates is covered in a video section. According to our recent information at the MCU timeline, Spider-Man: Far From Home now have a more accurate year set. As we follow WandaVision Episode 4, Monica Rambeau is one of many that disappeared with Thanos first snap and now returning to real life again. Episode 4 also sums up the rest of the Endgame to the confirmed five years: Maria Rambeau died two years after Monica disappeared, three years later the blip occurs – which gives us the five years from Infinity War.

Information that is followed also tells us that WandaVision occurs three weeks after Endgame, which fits very well with Hulk’s unsnap and we will in this case land in october-november 2023. Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Parkers trip, then occurs summer 2024.

The Nick Fury post credits in Spider-Man: Far from home occurs eight months after Endgame.

WandaVision finally introducing S.W.O.R.D. properly with a skrull easter egg

Did hell break loose this time? Well, as mentioned before, we’ve spoken about when things may beaks loose for real. In episode 4, S.W.O.R.D is finally introduced – wishes that many viewers have spoken about have come true. At the MCU page, some gaps are now filled in.

What we first believed would be some kind of 1980’s episode, turned out to be a tinly jump between the spaces of the sitcom reality and the real reality, giving a quite exciting recap from the former episodes. Monica “Photon” Rambeau is also introduced, by being the first S.W.O.R.D agent getting sucked into Westview – who became Geraldine for a short period. The episode ends with what then happened to Rambeau – which has been shown in some of the official trailers.

In this episode we will finally meet Randall Park (Jimmy Woo in Ant Man) and Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis in the Thor movies) that are leading the outside operation. The promises for an accelerating action style series are now in progress. The hexagonal shape and the “Mephisto theory” that has been mentioned a while by both Emergency Awesome and New Rockstars shows up on Woo’s border. At the same screen capture at this page, Skrulls are also being brought up as a slight note in the left corner.

From Episode 4 we will also get introduced to the WandaVision’s sitcom cast, identified as…

  • Mr & Mrs Hart: Todd and Sharon Davis.
  • Norm: Abilash Tandon.
  • Jones: Harold Copter.
  • Beverly: Isabel Matsueida.
  • Herb: John Collins.

As it also seems Ag(atha Hark)ness, don’t show up in the cast just yet.
The names in the cast is also real names from the WandaVision production, mentioned in this video.

There are also new breakdowns for this one (currently most of them from Emergency Awesome). The most recent are presented below. Some fans that – this far – seems to be quite newborn to Marvel and the MCU, that asked why the hell WandaVision was a sitcom, also finally got their stupidity confirmed.

When will hell break loose in WandaVision?

During the last update of the MCU timeline, I’ve been trying to pre-set the upcoming decade-titling, out from what we’ve seen and read about the sitcom eras this far. With some help from articles where Paul Bettany reveals that WandaVision will be paying homage to virtually every decade of TV sitcoms: “It’s ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and all of it,” he said. “We end up in the MCU, in the real world.” there should be a last sitcom episode in the 2000-era at the 6th episode – since the first predicition of the old “WandaVision will be 6 episodes long.

With this guessing game, the timeline at mcu.earth616.org has also been updated with the exciting information below. After episode 6, we should’ve kept up with the real MCU reality at 2023. As Marvel and the crew also already mentioned a “full MCU action series” there might be some kind of guarantee, that we at this point will be quite familiar with the prior “MCU style movies” again (for those who can’t stand the current format, and still don’t understand what Marvel means).

From todays date we have only three episodes left before episode 6. Since we already know that Geraldine mentioned Ultron killing Pietro, hell will probably break loose very soon when they realize that they are trapped in a world of Wanda. With “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” around the corner, I’d like – with carefulness – predict a handover to that series at some point of the last episodes of WandaVision too. So we, for sure, don’t have to wait until the last episode for this. It’s recommended to follow Emergency Awesome and New Rockstar, since they are deeply analyzing the episodes with predictions like above.

Last but not least, Emergency Awesome has also recently posted a breakdown and easter-egg video for WandaVision “new mutant characters” here.

It’s saturday – Maintenance day

As usual, at calm saturday mornings, after the shock from another WandaVision Episode, we collect ourselves for a short while and going maintenance, to fill in some gaps of the MCU Timeline. Meanwhile, for you people – like us – wants more, there are WandaVision Episode 3 breakdowns available from Emergency Awesome and New Rockstars since yesterday. They are also embedded just below.

Maintenance?

Today, we’ve added all of the episodes for Loki, MS Marvel, Hawkeye, What If…?, Secret Invasion and some other series – with all necessary imdb-links and eventual release datesm so it will be easier to follow them. Also, IMDB descriptions is on place for already released episodes.

There’s also a bigger cleanup with in the “status symbols” where both the D+ and TV-boxes has been removed from a few places. The TV status will now only be used when it’s not obvius. The old D+ status is deprecated and will only be added when the show is really streaming on Disney Plus.

Older series, especially the legacy Fox series has not yet been added. They are considered but, as they only are vaguely related (or not at all) to the MCU, they will be absent furthermore.

New Rockstars Breakdown

Morbius is delayed – again

According to variety (origin) and CBR.com, Morbius is delayed yet again (When this is written, Sony pictures has not updated the movie info yet), and will set to arrive to theaters 21 january 2022 (the first delay was set to Oct 8) – which is the weekend after MLK.

Our own page has been updated with this information too. Even though it won’t collide with the original MCU timeline, it is still a loss for the world of movies. Hopefully, not all theatrical releases 2021 will be moved further on and instead go PVOD.

The first two WandaVision episodes, first mini review.

I liked how WandaVision started. Like another weird season from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow but initially with a calmer pace. It’s a strong contrast compared to Avengers: Endgame, and I get a better feeling of the aftermath, while the show is going on. Without being to much of a spoilery, the S.W.O.R.D. logo also follows a few times on screen which makes this much more exciting. For those who has’nt followed Marvel frantically, this logo probably don’t say much. But for the other of us, this is a confirmation of that “new era” Marvel has spoken so much about.

As many of you probably hasn’t seen the episodes yet, we’ll stop our analysis here. But, below the images, we have added breakdowns of each episode for you to check, that has been analyzed by our two favorite Marvel channels, Emergency Awesome and New Rockstars.
