Falcon and Winter Soldier ended – What’s up next?

With breakdowns of the season finale from Emergency Awesome and New Rockstars theorizing what will come – such as Sharon Carter in Secret Invasion – we now ask ourselves what’s up next since there will be a small gap in the time schedule before Loki starts. But first, New Rockstars mentions in the last breakdown of episode 6 that Sharon Carter “governmental access” also could open up for Armor Wars, a thing that I suspect that not everyone have been thinking of this far. But imagine; with access to techology directly linked to the government is perfectly referring to when stuff gets in the wrong hands.

While we still build the API we expect that next week will not be entirely empty, even if we haven’t checked the internet flows for a while. For example, the way Disney+ presenting the MCU right now, there should be a new episode of “Marvel Studios: Assembled” next week going for The Making of Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

And since the final episode of Captain America and The Winter soldier, there’s also a announcement of Captain America 4 that we are pushing out, both in the API and the prior MCU Timeline. This also opens up for a new extra resource for the API for what’s coming up next in order (Example: https://tools.tornevall.com/api/mcu/coming). In short, you should always be able to see what’s coming next in the schedule. Which leads us to the next point: HULU – and maybe also Star.

If don’t only count the TV-shows and MCU Films, the next thing coming in date order is as you can see above the M.O.D.O.K. animated series that was announced in february. A new post arrived at Marvel HQ just a few days ago. Even if it is supposed to be a HULU-only release, I do hope that it will be shared with Star also so that all Marvel hungry fans can continue digest more content during this spring and summer.

Timeline Update – When’s in the MCU

Our apologies. We’ve – again – been a bit idle, due to life driven events. However, we’re still following the timeline of Marvel’s MCU. This sunday, New Rockstars released a Falcon and Winter Soldier breakdown, containing timeline stuff that we’d like to update. The full breakdown video is located below. We also want to add that there are plans to move out the old MCU timeline site to something that is easier to maintain than the current.

So, how do the timeline currently look? Our last guess, compared our own data with New Rockstars and Charlie “Emergency Awesome” Schneider’s, was around march 2024. Many of the calculations are based on rough weeks and months, and New Rockstars landed in april 2024.

This short video also explains the theory (Here’s the full breakdown!).

The arm scene, can be found in “Infinity War” and occurs shortly before the battle.

Updates for the Falcon and the Winter Soldier timeline

According to a breakdown analysis from Emergency Awesome, Falcon and The Winter Soldier will take place a couple of months after Avengers Endgame. As Emergency Awesome and New Rockstars has independently still confirmed that WandaVision starts around three weeks after Avengers: Endgame and ends about a month after Endgame, we have now new “In MCU”-dates to put into our timeline.

According to New Rockstars we know that WandaVision takes place around October-November 2023. Emergency Awesome also adds that the events in that series takes place “over the course of a calendar week” and therefore the series also ends about a month after the Endgame events.

This said we will most likely expect that Falcon and The Winter soldier also occurs somewhere in 2024. Hear them out below.

Final Trailer Breakdown from Emergency Awesome in full can be viewed here.

What the future after WandaVision may give us

We’ve been a bit busy the last days back, so we’re a bit behind schedule. If you have any tips or information beside the tracks we usually follow, you may want to contact us – or become a writer yourself here.

This week, we actually wait for the next tv series to start – and while waiting we try to monitor if there is news about the release of Black Widow. Meanwhile, we do have a collection of videos from our two favorite Youtubers, below.

Jimmy Woo mastered his card trick, but is that really it?

When Jimmy Woo (played by Randall Park) presented himself in Episode 4, Marvel did a scene that was nodding back to Ant-Man and The Wasp. Basically, that scene made many Marvel-fans go crazy. And sometimes, I’d admin, easter eggs are made for just nodding back to something. However, is that kind of easter egg covered by this one too?

As WandaVision Episode 4 progressing, we will soon get a notification via the board Woo is writing on that they may suspect Skrull involvement. This makes my go thinking if there are more movies signed with Randall Park (except the Ant-Man and The Wasp sequel).

This might be a long shot for the upcoming series Secret Invasion and related films, and currently just a theory: Could this card trick have a key role in future films too? Some breakdowns from Emergency Awesome mentions this, while talking about eventual Doctor Strange cameos during WandaVision. But, what if there’s further more? Let’s just say that there’s an ongoing Skrull invasion, and the Skrulls has short term memory. If we see Randall Park in future Marvel movies, this could be the perfect way to identify him as the real Jimmy Woo.

How did Deadpool know about Logan?

I’ve been thinking of the timeline after reading an article from itechpost that also matches with the data on https://mcu.earth616.org.

It states the order of how Deadpool 2 and Logan plays out together in chronological order. This said, it’s been quite a mission to complete the “occuring movie years” for the X-men Legacy since Fox practically destroyed the timelines with reboots and such – and I’m much aware of the fact that Deadpool 2 occurs long before Logan.

I’m of course also aware of the default 4th walling here and that Deadpool might know about those events due to this. And I guess that there has been quite a time traveling, according to the post credit scenes since then. But shouldn’t this occur in some kind of reverse order? If Deadpool 2 begins with a “Death of Logan” reference, and ends with Deadpool time traveling – how could he possibly know?
