MCU Timeline Update: Several titles revealed with release dates

For just an hour ago, Marvel dropped a movie celebration! This video reveals both some release dates and some upcoming titles. They are listed below!

First out, is still Black Widow at July 9 2021, followed by Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings at September 3. Eternals goes at November 5, and for the first time we had some (very) quick images from the movie too. By the end of the year – December 17 comes Spider-Man: No Way Home followed quite short after into next year by Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness at 25 March 2022.

Thor: Love and Thunder comes next year at May 6 followed by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at July 8 – where we now also has got a title for Black Panther 2.

In our MCU Timeline, we had Captain Marvel 2 flagged at November 11 2022, which also means that we now have a title for the upcoming Captain Marvel-movie: The Marvels.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania premieres February 17 2023, the year after followed by Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 3 at May 5, 2023. They also glimpsed The Fantastic Four, but without any date revealed yet.

That said, we are aware that there are more upcoming titles underway, so this is probably just the beginning!

Who will be the next Black Panther?

Ever since they news came out that Chadwick Boseman is not taking place CGI’ed in Black Panther 2, speculations have travelled around the internet who the next Black Panther will be. It has gone over a week, and still the “news” about the CGI is still hot. Marvel internals has been waiting deciding who the next one will be, as they still mourns and some says that it will take even more time before we will get to know.

According to the comics, Shuri has already taken over this mantle so many of the speculations is pointing at Letitia Wright. Letitia Wright says, herself, that a sequel without Chadwick Boseman would be “strange”. Many people, claims that the easiest solution for the MCU is the one that comes from the comics. A first plausible leak, posted 6 days ago, also says that “Marvel Studios hasn’t made the final decision yet on who will be the next Black Panther. However, they are leaning towards Letitia Wright” for several reasons. Full article can be read here.
